It is important for them to have new toys every so often. Just like
a child needs new toys . Games are just as important they can bring
you two closer like hide and seek once your dog finds you give lots
of love.
Dogs and Sleep do dogs dream? would they
rather sleep than play? No, dogs do not sleep most
of the day because they like to sleep. They sleep because they are bored.
If given the chance to play or rest, the dog will undoubtedly choose to play.
Sure, some dogs do not need as much exercise as some dogs. And yes, it is
a fact that dogs do dream.
Dominant dogs Is
your dog dominant over you?
Some dogs are more concerned with being dominant than anything else.
It sometimes takes time to see who is the dominant dog. Not all males
are the dominant dog, and some little dogs are the dominant dog, even
if there is a bigger dog in the house.
Ideally, you should play the part of the dominant dog. If your dog
is on the bed and you go to pick it up and it growls at you, here
is what you do. Do not be afraid of your dog--if you must, put gloves
on. Now grab the dog with two hands on the sides of its head.
Show the dog that you are the boss.
Kneel down over the dog, making sure you are still holding him and
say, "If you ever do that again you'll be sorry!" You have
to mean it. The dog will be saddened by the fact that you are not
pleased with what he did and will want to correct his behavior.
Babying your dog Do you over protect your dog? What I mean by,babying your dog
is, do you keep your dog away from other dogs so it will not get in a fight or
get dirty playing, or all wet, do you not let your dog play to rough with others
because it might get hurt?
or do you keep your dog on a leash all the times because you do not want top deal
with what ever consequence's might come up? Do you not let your dog chase prey
is if were hunting? If you always keep your dog on a leash it will never fully
know how good it can be to be a dog.
I do not allow dogs in my care,to chase cats
I am writing all this to tell you that it is bad for the dog. First of all you
should not get a dog if you plan to keep it away from other dogs and people.
Why? you ask. Because it is cruel, not letting your dog play with other dogs
or even sniff another dog does not make sense. What really is happening here
is that you are the one who is afraid,ah not of the other dog but of the other
person,so you pull on the dogs leash and he gets defense then what's the first
thing that comes out of our mouth?.
"see I told you my dog doesn't get along well with other dogs. And the
guy is thinking to himself "oh boy I better not even try to pet that dog
. that is why I think a lot of people have their dogs on leashes for extra protection.
And the other big reason is that they have no idea how to control the dog. I
can tell you right now that your dog must not love you very much if he or she
runs away and will not come back You really are doing the dog any favors if
all you want to do is keep your dog clean ,dry and out of harms way.
Is not fair to the dog. My dog was bit by a bee, she had a reaction to, it
as time went on she acted as though she had fleas. My other dog stepped on a
piece of sharp glass, cut an artery,she lost some blood,and the emergency bill
was over 200.00. But I would never tell my dog that your playing is over because
I am afraid you will get hurt again. Just like Lucky, I wouldn't stop her from
looking around in the woods just because I am afraid something bad might happen.
Your dog is the one being taken out for an hour, or so ,so let it have some
fun.
